I have never understood that. I realize Oriental was used in a negative way for a long time.
But Oriental simply means people from the Orient. Which they are from.
But if everyone is going to call them 'Asians', at least call them 'East Asians'. Calling them Asians is rather silly.
I mean would you call an Iraqi an Asian? Would you call someone from middle Russia Asian? How about India or Pakistan? They are all asians.
It is more properly East Asian, imo.
And on the subject, I personally think mixed race women and East Indian women are the most attractive in the world.
And I am a white guy.
You find me someone who is better put together then Halle Berry. Especially say 5-10 years ago.

Interesting enough I once read a study that found you had a statistically greater chance of being considered attractive by the populace in general if you had more varied genetic background. I wish I could remember where I read that, but I wonder why that is.
I don't care about labeling Asian chicks that much. It seems like you do. I assume you have a subscription to National Geographic which is okay with me. I don't get a subscription to any magazines.
