High speed chase in a Smart Car

Yes... you read the title right... high speed (topped out at 90MPH) chase of a Smart Car. Would have loved to have seen that Crown Vic spin it out, but that would probably ending up with the death of the dude in the Smart Car.

I don't know why, but just the sight of one of those goofy little cars fills me with rage. Whenever I see one parked somewhere, I want to go over and flip it onto its side. And yes, I have issues. I've already admitted to that...

There's one thing that even an F1 car can't out run: a police radio.

All running does is increase the charges filed against you... and the likelihood that the cops will deliver a Rodney King style beat down on you when (not if) they catch you. Loss of license, jail time and broken ribs just aren't worth the thrill of running, IMO.

When I was younger & dumber, I floored a Jag XJS to get away from a state trooper who spotted me speeding on the other side of the interstate. Luckily, I got off at the next exit and hid behind a gas station for what seemed like forever. I saw his blue lights come on but I don't know how much of an effort he made once I took off. It's not like that car didn't stick out in a crowd, so they could have easily found me if they'd tried. That was really dumb though. I would never do anything like that again.
