Normal Microsoft Windows operation feature.

You must have done something wrong, like turned the computer on.

Ahh...fond memories of when I used to know how to do registry edits! Or did I just THINK I knew how?

I do not even try to edit windows registry anymore. I have 2 backups of it every day. In the registry empty spaces and number of characters are important sometimes. It's crazy. But if I had to do it I would.

I do the same thing. I had a terrible time messing with the registry in my old computer, even though working with computers is my job.

ASSMAN!!!!!!!!!!!! Wasabi??????
Before you go messing with the REG try system restore. First go back 2 weeks, if that don't fix it go back about 5.( its seems pretty weak but it works sometimes)
If that don't work uninstall and re install the media player.
it sounds like a java problem.
