help...how do i attach a picture?

i'm trying to figure out how to attach pictures to a message. it keeps telling me that it is not a valid format or something. dows anyone know what i'm doing wrong.

Are you trying to attach it to a private message or just a post?

If it's in a post, when you click the button to post, near the bottom of your message, directly above the SUBMIT buttion is a little area that says ATTACH FILE. You use the browse buttom to find to search your computer for the file. In that little area it also includes the valid file extensions: gif jpg png txt zip bmp jpeg psd jsc

If it is anything other than those, it won't upload.

If you were talking about just posting a picture in your message and not attaching it, just used the IMG code located above where you type your message, you'll need an ADDRESS/URL of the picture. Hope I helped. :hatsoff:

Thanks for the help. I was able to attaich a pic. with no problem in the "your reply area." when i tried to attach it by using the attach file, it looks like it's still waiting to get approved

Yep you got it bro. Yeah if you attach, you have to wait for it to be approved. If you link it like in your last post, it shows up instantly. :hatsoff:
