having trouble with my sig

if i created a sig how come i cant upload it? it keeps saying banned, but i am confused why? Is there another way to get one?

You have to upload the picture to a file hosting site and then post that link to the picture in your profile.

wait, so you can have a picture that shows up with your profile? does that display under my name when i post a post? sorry i'm still a freshman here.
