Every one of those mentioned above have some sort of human security. Even down on the field at football games. Yet there is no outrage from people.
But, let someone (the NRA) suggest putting security in schools, and all hell breaks loose. Why is that?
Wouldn't you prefer criminals know that there is someone in that school who will shoot back at him?
Or..
Do you think placing signs around the school that say "This Is A ***-Free Zone", will deter a criminal from coming onto the school grounds?
Don't you think had there been signs in place of the "*** Free Zone" that instead said: "Armed Security In And Around The School Grounds." Don't you think it would have deterred the jack-ass that broke into Sandy Hook? Witnesses said that as soon as he heard the sirens, he ****** himself. Unfortunately, he ****** 26 people before ******* himself.
So why all the opposition to having bona fide security guard(s) at schools?
Why do cops carry guns? We all know the answer to that..... it's because they encounter bad people all the time. If cops didn't carry firearms, would a cop feel safe going into a bad situation? Of course not. If criminals knew that cops couldn't carry a firearm, would they fear the police? I doubt it.
The point I'm trying to make here is: More *** laws make the law-abiding less armed, and yet ends up actually making the criminals more armed.
