I much prefer Apple ban all it's religious dogma available at its store instead of banning porn apps ;)

(Does Apple know Hellraisin has a new business model for them? This could save Apple from certain destruction...!)
 
As much as I'd love to see porn apps on my iPod, I can't blame Apple for taking the easy road on this. Hosting anything remotely pornographic is a legal quagmire they don't want to get involved with, especially when you're hosting and selling content internationally. And Apple has every right to do it. It's their servers and their software. When you buy an iPod, you agree to a End User Agreement that says that you'll play by their rules. Don't like it? Don't buy an iPod.

This is why I bought a non-iphone smart phone. I have the nifty touch screen but not the limitation of the app store. I don't want ANYONE telling me what apps are or aren't appropriate for me.

What's ironic by Apple daring to do such a thing is that I bet many people who are in the porn business use Apple products and it's sad to see Apple alienating this segment of their customers
 
Who has an iPhone that isn't jailbroken anyway??? Cydia and Rock have tons of **** you can download. App store is for bitches.

We don't have any of our own apps out yet. I think right now we're just trying to nail the mobile version of the site.
 
I don't need to go to iTunes to buy porn apps for my iPhone. Some other developer can create them. :dunno: We should not ***** Apple to sell things it doesn't want to sell, as long as doing so doesn't encourage monopoly behavior (of course!).

If a company wants to develop adult apps...let 'em. Is this really an issue?
 
I read that Apple did this because they're going to push the iPad to the educational market and they didn't want school boards, parents and kiddies to be browsing the App store and seeing porn related apps. :dunno:

But porn has been such a big driver for the internet and various products, seems like they'd create some adults only section in the store.

Oh well... Apple hasn't given Verizon the iPhone, so I won't have one of those unless they do. But I'll get an iPod Touch as soon as they put a camera in it... hopefully later this year.
 
Do they still have the shake the baby app?
