Ecclesiastes 1:9 (KJV)
9: The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun

People quoting the Bible.

The Bible ....ironically, no new stories in there either ... as it has the good sense to point out itself:D

Think again.

Don't need to ..... there's not one parable or fable in the Bible that hasn't already been told for thousands of years before ..... see, religion, being religion uses its parasitic hold to observe what works and what don't, and then shamelessly steals it, appropriates the moral message, changes the names, adds some of its own voodoo and .. voila!

One big book of crap.

Star Wars going down in history and being made over and over. Even my **** want to watch Star wars for days on end. Now we have almost all the Harry Potter movies on the other hand they already don't want to watch them. They don't seem to have repeat watchability.

Actually if you read the original "Dune" novel there is alot borrowed from it. That's what stories do, they make you think and dream and of course they will influence what you think and dream. All good stories have a protagonist you can relate to and an antagonist you can definitely relate too. They all have some unobtainable goal that some how the happy go lucky hero manages to get too. That's your simple Hollywood formula right there. In the 80's they just threw in a montage that featured their associates helping out just to show the whole worker drone mentality that drives corporate America and indoctrinates us to a life of drudgery.
