Thanks for that,...BTW do you remember at the end of Halo3 single-player campaign on Legendary, after the long credits - you see The Chiefs half of the ship head into the atmosphere of an unknown planet...I thought that was gonna tie into Ghosts of Onyx somehow....lol unless I'm mixing something else up.

That planet is on the other side of the known galaxy, so I dont think it would have anything to do with the stories we have been told. Whether or not they will pick it up in another game....I dont know, I have mixed feelings about. From my stance, the Hero has done his bit and earned his rest.

Ideally expand it in books, the rebuilding of the human empire, alliance with the elites etc, whole new bouty of stories waiting to be told there! If I remember right the covenant has split, the elites, hunters and grunts I think against the brutes and the jackals.

I think they will have their hands full mopping up their own backyard, the trials of the arbiter in the new covenant, alot of potential there for a story!

(How we doing on the ranks gents? Colonel at the mo and the ranks are now ****** to climb and only getting worse!)

Good points, but the chief is the best - "he's the one", lol , ..the schism between the brutes & elites - now that is worth exploring....but what I want to know? - there is supposed to be 6 or 7 halo rings and if 2 were infested by flood,,,it;s a good chance the others are..or if they wanna harvest "forerunner tech" from them... damn I must sound like a real fanatic - lol

The flood was beaten at the end of halo 3, hey didnt infest the first halo, they were test subjects being studied by the forerunners. The other halo they crashed on as well, theres no reason to suggest they are on the other installations. Remember the forerunners ****** them by starving them, for all intents they are beaten.

No one knows where the other halos are, presumably spread across space in massive distances and the first halos discovery was a partial accident based on Cortana decyphering forerunner glyphs. The othess will likely remain lost for a long time.

The ark ship is still sitting in africa, once the humans have a chance to look at it and reverse engineer its goodies, they have potential to be a big chance to be more powerful than the covenant.

Yeah,,..I saw a bungie vid-doc that said everything was squared away at the end of Halo3....I was just hoping they could because - man those flood levels - they used to get the ***** pumping and heart racing lol - and with the graphics on 2 & 3 you could see the walls pulsing and oozing, Ha
