oh thank god, the op really got me worried about the direction of the franchise, although i am pretty excited about the 80's edition coming out soon. i love this game, but i cant get 5 stars on "institutionalized" on medium-that time sig is so out of the ordinary, have any of you guys had trouble with that one?

I have had trouble with it. For one the song is garbage and it repeats itself way too much and its gets me bored.

I've been going nuts over GH2 lately, and as much as I'm interested in GH3, the GH takes the 80's game looks really good. I just wish I had a 360 for the downloadable content.

I suppose I could mod my PS2 but that seems like way too much work.

I'm a HUUUUGE fan of 60's and 70's rock music and I really don't understand why more GOOD songs aren't on Guitar Hero. I know it sounds strange after saying I'm a fan of 60's and 70's rock, but Guitar Hero also needs more "heavy" songs, preferably by popular metal artists like Ozzy Osbourne or Pantera.

Guitar Hero is soooo much fun to play (for SOME reason) and I would **** to see it go all "pop", even though it seems like it's going to.

It won't. How much guitar do you hear in pop music??? NONE!!! If they tried to change it to pop music, besides the fact it wouldn't work, they would cut their own throats!

One band that will probably never make it onto guitar hero, which sucks because they are amazing, is pink floyd. Roger Waters probably has a death grip on the licensing.
