Guide to the ID Section - Read Before Posting!

Re: 2012 Guide to the ID Section - Read Before Posting!

This is a curiosity question not a complaint. I am curious why the be_g site is banned. What is on that site which makes it inappropriate for this board?
I can't say for sure, but it was most likely due to inappropriate content. Videos depicting, rape, incest, beastiality, or some other illegal crap.

How to know if my thread was denied?
It can take up to 24 hours to approve a thread. You have to be patient.

I just looked at your profile and found a rule violation. You posted the same request, twice. Per the board rules, we do not allow duplicate threads/requests. I deleted one of your threads and approved the other.

Ok, thanks. I thought I hadn't posted it properly

Okay, thanks...that sight does not seem to have extreme content but I'm sure it is possible.

is it ok to post pornhub link?

yes

when in doubt, hit the "go advanced" button. if your link is asterisked out, then it's banned.

Re: 2012 Guide to the ID Section - Read Before Posting!

Just curious if rules on posting links to videos from porn sites have changed since the beginning of this thread? On the first or second page it basically said sites like youjizz were ok, but if the site wasnt you would know if you preview the post before actually posting. Is this still the case, and is there a list of acceptable websites to post links from?

All right then. Here is a short and very unofficial list (I am not a full moderator or a FO team member and will never be) of tube sites that are allowed (and have been allowed for quite some time) at the time of this posting:
pornhub
redtube
xhamster
xvideos
youjizz

Not posting any more of them since I want to be careful in not recommending something that shouldn't be allowed in here, word filter notwithstanding.

Other than that, keep using the preview function. If the result is ******* for the full domain name, the site is banned, most likely due to openly allowing content that violates the general rules of this board (and at this point in the thread, anyone reading this should really know now where to find the rules and guidelines). If the specific video you were viewing was legal, get a screenshot (tablet and mobile devices: get a screenshot app, I instantly found some free ones for Android at least), edit the site name out of the picture if it is visible there and post that instead. However, if you need to edit the screenshot before posting, then it is probably much better to post from a computer that has an actual keyboard and mouse.

If I am on a website that displays flash advertisements that change every time the page is loaded, is there a way I can post a link to the specific ad so anyone trying to identify the girl in the ad will see the ad I intend?

Take a screenshot: Print Scrn, paste into image viewing program, edit if necessary, save and upload to an image hosting site.

I thought of making a tutorial for taking screenshots and found this old post of mine which has some further detail on taking screenshots from videos:
http://board.freeones.com/showthread.php?267567&p=5065373&viewfull=1#post5065373

Except ignore the part where I explain making video thumbnail montages and posting them, since that is apparently against the rules in here (oops), at least when it comes to posting it as an attachment. As far as I have seen, apparently hosting it on an image hosting site and posting the link here is fine... maaaybe? :dunno: This is something I will have to verify. I don't remember it being explained anywhere in the board FAQ or any other rules thread. but I don't have time to delve into this any further.

This very likely has everything to do with avoiding copyright claims, since when you post an attachment, FreeOnes becomes responsible for any incoming copyright claims, whereas if you post it to an external site, that responsibility is entirely on that external site.

Edit: Holy shit, look what I wrote: parenthesis after parenthesis... Fuck that for now, absolutely not going to rewrite this to a better format at this moment.

I hope people read this. Judging by the number of bump violations, I have serious doubts about the number of members that actually read the guidelines when they create their account just to get an ID that's bugging them.

Heh, members. :flaccid:

Re: 2012 Guide to the ID Section - Read Before Posting!

Re: 2012 Guide to the ID Section - Read Before Posting!

Click your name to the left of that ^^^^^^ post, then click "View Forum Posts." Or across the top click where it says "Welcome, RioKiev" and you'll see a list of your posts.

"Up to 12 hours" is the diplomatic answer. "It takes until a mod gets around to it" is the reality.

Re: 2012 Guide to the ID Section - Read Before Posting!

Is there still a limit on how many babes I want to ID in a thread, I think it was 5?

The limits are 5 links and / or 3 attachments. There is no limit on the number of babes, but I'd recommend not to put too many requests in the same thread. Otherwise it will become highly confusing very quickly which babes have been IDed and which ones haven't.

Re: 2012 Guide to the ID Section - Read Before Posting!

Hello I have a question, I have pm'ed a moderator but my message was not sent due to a full in box. could a mod pm me please , if that's ok . thanks

Re: 2012 Guide to the ID Section - Read Before Posting!

Thank you for the guidelines. I don't see an attach button anywhere on the page when I am attempting to post.....

Re: 2012 Guide to the ID Section - Read Before Posting!

Why do some of the "envelope" boxes look red while others are gray?

Re: 2012 Guide to the ID Section - Read Before Posting!

I realize I'm a newbie here, but I've tried to find out what OCSM and ACO mean with no luck. What do they refer to, and how can I get to be one or the other?

The rules have been eased to try and retain members who think the rules on here are too strict
(try PeachyForum and see the real definition of strict )

Anyhow, a couple of images for ID requests are okay. Posting an entire gallery, that would be piracy and also flooding.

As for unbanning tube sites, 99% of the newbies joining never bother to read the rules, which irritates the crap outta me, so most of them would join, post a tube site for an ID, see that it was banned and then never sign back on, so this rule was also changed to try and retain new members.

Re: 2012 Guide to the ID Section - Read Before Posting!

how delete attachments . please. because i don´t upload images

Re: 2012 Guide to the ID Section - Read Before Posting!

OCSM = Official Checked Star Member. Basically, model or pornstar.
ACO = Approved Content Owner. Basically, site owner or webmaster.

Be one of the above.

I see, so according to board rules, I can't post any images of or links to explicit content? that rather limits what I can post to try to identify a model.

And thanks for your quick reply.
