Anyone seen it and what did they think? I loved it.

Oh btw can anyone who has seen it tell me who the lass was that was stuck in Star lords ship at the beginning when he spoke to Yondu via cam?

Yes great film, but maybe you should post it in the What's the last good film....
 
I saw Guardians about a week ago, and it was excellent. I watch most comic inspired films, and it's basically flawless. The pacing is great, characterization fabulous, the humour is very well-judged and even Big Dave was fine, deadpanning with aplomb as Drax. I didn't quite *love* it the way I did Days Of Future Past, but that's down to personal preference as I'm a huge X-Men fan, and Guardians is a great film for its genre. One of the best yet.

Know who that lass was at the start of the film in the ship?
 
Liked it, didn't love it. A few too many "hero shots" trying to convey bad-assitude when they really weren't necessary. The villains seemed under developed - not that they weren't powerful enough to match up well with the heroes but for all of atrocities that are talked about as having happened with Ronan the Accuser (and Thanos's *********) the on screen action seems pretty tame. Even at the end when parts of a major city are destroyed and an entire planet is in peril there was not the emotional intensity to make it feel like a high stakes moment.
 
Seen the film and thought it was good but far from great. I would like to know who that pink lady is in the beginning of the picture...She looks good in tight short short's
