I can just imagine throwing a baseball bat or golf club out of a window at a unexpecting citizen ... or revving a chainsaw out of the window and driving close to the curb.

The main thing drawing me in is the graphics. I always hated the cartoony graphics on the previous games, I just liked the gameplay. GTA 4 is giving us graphics beyond what I had ever imagined for a GTA game, the new features in it are also pretty cool:

yep! I love the gameplay of the previous titles, the story is never so boring I don't care anymore, it's decent throughout. The graphics always sucked. But this time they look very nice from what I can tell, yet they somehow maintain that GTA flare!

I've ordered it for the 360 - I don't know how long the downloadable content will be exclusive for... I'm sure PS3 owners will get it eventually as well... or at least some downloads of their own... I understand that if you preorder the 360 version you get 500 microsoft points too...

I have the 360 and PS3, and will be buying it on the 360 because the gameplay is better on the 360 for shooters, the PS3 seems abit slow in the pace aspect.

No halo sucked ass. They didn't change a thing just added more shit. Hell even the maps were the same. What I meant by big was as far as sales go! I should have said, it'll outsell what halo sold it's first week. I would hope so at least.

I read that GTAIV is gonna be as big a leap from san andreas as GTAIII was from GTAII. I hope I worded that right. Remember how we all reacted the first time we were down on street level from the over head view? I for one was like :eek:

Yep you worded that right, and you have actualy got me even more excited for GTA4 with the highlighted bit

I've never really enjoyed any of the GTA games. For me they were just a mesh of a bad driving game and a bad shoot em up, although GTA IV is looking worth buying.

Maybe it's something to do with playing the criminal...I generally play RPGs and have pretty much always played as a good guy...

If GTA does not go gold(completey finsished and stocked) by april 17 then its gonna get pushed back too atleast december...

EA/Take 2 are offering somewhere around 2-3 billion too get there hands on this which means we wont get our hand ons it for months....

they have until april 16 too make offers.... hopefully gta wont accept an we can rest knowing its coming on the 29th

If EA buys out rockstar then the GTA series is dead. Cause like everything else EA will completely fuck it up!

As for waiting again...fuck that! I need to stay out of this thread, the news here is getting shittier and shittier each day...
