Green Day singer kicked off plane over low trousers

I'm 20, so no I have never been married. And just so you know, I don't wear my pants low like that. I just don't see why it's a big deal if someone else does.

And if people are actually offended by people wearing their pants low, they are going to have a very tough time getting by in the real world.

It's one thing to wear them a little low, but Lil Wayne low is just gayness:

But...you can see their boxers. It's disturbing.

How do they walk? How do they walk?! It's just not advantageous in any way. It doesn't look cool and they shuffle like they're constipated as they walk. When I see someone wearing pants below their ass I automatically know they're morons. It's a stereotype I can rely on every time and I'm never wrong.

Whenever I see anyone wearing their pants like that I ask them if it gives their boyfriends easier access to their assholes.

if in a "free" society people are kicked off planes for the clothes they wear, then this "free" society is no better than other societies it wants to "civilize" for what THEY choose to wear.
reminds me of sth i'd heard some time ago,of a man being kicked out of a plance for wearng a t-shirt saying "master bater",because some other passengers were offended.

if you don't like his pants, just don't look at it!!!!!it's that f...simple. I personally **** this kind of "style".my reaction to it?not to dress like that.that's it.
and besides....after the guy would have SAT DOWN,his pants and his boxers would not be visible.
so WHAT was the problem?
a guys' pants today,a t-shirt tomorrow, who knows what is next.
no matter how one hates this style, being ok with what happened and applauding it is NOT the best option.
in my opinion....

I don't think people here understand what a "free" society means...

You can't show your underwear and ass in public. Why? Because it affects OTHERS. Within reason, you can wear whatever the hell you want!

What a douchebag... just pull your damn pants up and act like you're not a fuckin 13 year old. :brick:

And I'm still waiting on an American Idiot reference... c'mon guys and gals, let's see some sarcasm :nanner:

Is it so hard to pull your pants up? Ya it's stupid, but to go so far you get kicked off the plane? You're being rebellious just because you can afford it, Billie Poseur Armstrong. They aren't asking you to crawl down the aisle like a dog. Just pull your pants up.

People saying this is some form of oppression of our free society need to lighten up.

However, if airlines want to avoid this in the future, introduce a dress code.

Most airlines already have a (at least) loosely defined dress code. It's part of what you're agreeing to when you say you agree to the terms of service.

Also, they are private companies. If they make rules and tell you to follow them, don't get pissed off if they kick you off the planes they own because you won't follow said rules.

Finally, if someone has to tell you to pull up your pants so that you don't offend others, there is something wrong with you.

Well there ya go Billie Joe Armstrong, now retire.

I always knew he was a piece of ****. When I first heard this on the news yesterday, I wasn't surprised that 'Billeee' was acting like a douche, because he always was.
I never knew him personally but I know people who did or still do. Some of which who knew the guys in Green Day since before they were famous. I hear the same thing from each of them: that he has always been an arrogant, pretentious prick.
The only thing about the story that had me yelling "what the fuck" was that he tries to dress like something he's not. He's a 40 year old suburban ****** of two.
"Pull your pants up" is something that a parent has to say to a ***** who's potty training.

For all you guys who are so against guys wearing their pants like this...how do you feel about women showing a whale tail? They get discriminated against for that too, but I bet you wouldn't complain.

:1orglaugh

If she was kicked off a flight for refusing to cover it up, than I'd be saying the same thing.

I'm not against sagging your pants. I'm against fake punks trying to be rebellious in their 40's.

While these are not exactly equivalent things - the woman's pants are often where they are supposed to be, their thongs are just high cut - I'd have the same reaction for both. It would be something like this: "You're dumb. Pull up your pants."

Punk is not dead, it just sucks now.
