GOP Staffer Calls Obama ********* 'Classless'

A Republican staffer on Friday apologized for a Facebook post that criticized Malia and Sasha Obama's appearance at the annual White House turkey pardon ceremony, one of America's silliest holiday traditions.

Elizabeth Lauten, the communications director for Rep. Stephen Fincher (R-Tenn.), wrote that the two teenagers should "try showing a little class," "dress like you deserve respect, not a spot at a bar," and, most of all, "don't make faces" at Very Serious public events.

The First ********* join President Obama at the ceremony every year, where they can hardly contain their disdain for the lame *** jokes that predictably follow. Before approaching Mac and Cheese, the two turkeys, the president remarked that it was "puzzling that I do this every year." Malia even declined her ******'s offer to pet one of the pardoned turkeys with a nonchalant, "Nah."

Lauten later apologized for rushing to judgment on Facebook.

"I reacted to an article and quickly judged the two young ladies in a way that I would never have wanted to be judged myself as a teenager," she said. "After many hours of prayer, talking to my parents and re-reading my words online, I can see more clearly how hurtful my words were. Please know that these judgmental feelings truly have no pace in my heart. Furthermore, I'd like to apologize to all of those who I have hurt and offended with my words, and pledge to learn and grow (and I assure you I have) from this experience."

I don't care if you're on the right or the left, the President's **** should be off limits especially if they're under 18. Once they're 18, they're adults so you can have at them. But criticizing two teenage girls is so low. Jeez, it wasn't like they were standing there in mini skirts. Does she not remember what it was like to be a teenager?

I agree with you, **** should be off-limits. On the other hand, part of the responsability of this is on the President : If you don't want your girls to be judged, don't use them for PR, don't bring them to your public appearances.

After many hours of prayer, talking to my parents and re-reading my words online, I can see more clearly how hurtful my words were.
it took her "many hours" to realise it ? And she had to re-read her words, talk her parents and eben pray God to come ot the conclusion that what she had done was mean, shel couldn't see that on her own ? Wow, what an empathy-less person we got here !

While I find it utterly touching that ****** Elizabeth was able to come up with a (fake) prayer story to elicit sympathy for her change of heart, I actually agree with her first impression of the Obama girls. I mean, the entire time Obama has been in the White House, what fun have his ********* been?! Seriously! Hell, they're more boring than Amy Carter and Chelsea Clinton put together.

They should have followed the fine example laid down (and I do mean laid down) by the Bush sisters. Would they have been standing beside ***** while he was pardoning a turkey (or Dick Cheney)? No! They'd have been out smokin a fat J or gettin' ***** with their skirts riding up over their bare asses... like any decent teenage girl should be doin' this time of year. Shame on the Obama *********!

Here's the girl that we, and every red-blooded Secret Service agent around at that time, miss so dearly (imagine the upskirt pics that got taken over those 8 years!!!).

I give you sweet, sweet... slutty Jenna Bush - providing an example for First ********* to follow for the next 100 years (or until the Chinese take this joint over). :hatsoff:

Sorry bruthah but I gotta ask, does this really need to be a topic? An actual Representative or Senator, OK. But are we expecting every staffer in every office to be a Rhodes scholar and possessing a Socratic wit?

But since I'm here anyway....NO. Just turning 18 doesn't give the rest of us a license to snipe. Turning 18 and choosing to become a "public figure" (in some way) is my personal criteria. If Meghan McCain hadn't chosen to be a public figure, then her name should never have been brought up. When Amy Carter decided to speak, then she became fair game. They made their choices, and only then should they have to abide by them. But if someone's *** or ******** turns 18 or 21, but they're keeping quiet, the rest of us should keep quiet about them.

Late Edit: If I was Predident, the turkey pardoning and the Correspondents Dinner would get ****-canned in my first 3 seconds, and I'll take the hit in the polls. Both are ridiculous and more trouble than they're worth.

Mrs Lauten isn't a random staffer, she's the communication director of Rep. Stephen Fincher (R-Tenn.). She's supposed to provide advices about communication to Stephen Fincher, she's supposed to know about communication. And she made a big communication mistake

Yippee for her. She's still just an office drone for some guy I've never heard of from a state that no one cares about. People make mistakes. And it this case, like so many others, the first mistake was signing up for Facebook.

I'm not saying that this shouldn't have shown up somewhere, as someone's idea of a news story. I'm saying that this doesn't really classify for our already low standards as a topic here.

Another way of saying it is: What now? How would you like to proceed, now that you're armed with this knowledge? Should we impeach this Fincher guy? Ban him from the buffet line? Saw down the trees in his front yard? Based on the information given, how can we make Johan happy?

Late Edit...again: I'm not angry. I swear to God I'm not angry. Please don't think I'm angry. I'll do anything, anything I tells ya, to assure the proletariat that I'm not angry. Just don't think I'm angry. Please, please, Oh God please, don't think I'm angry.

Not to mention all the rest of the stupid stuff she said or how dumb it was to target some young girls like that, but I'm really struggling to find what the problem was with what the girls were wearing. By her description I thought it would be something much more provocative or some similar problem. There clothing seems normal to me for a semi-formal event. :dunno:

Hey, why me ? I didn't created the topic, Im' just responding to it. And I said part of the responsability of this is on the president.

What I think is that this is just another proof that republicans would jump on any occasion to blame Obama, even half of an occasion is too good not to jump on it. And nothing is off-limit.

This is one of those cheesy things that goes both ways. A few months ago some lady news host got dinged because she made fun of the Romney ****** after they adopted a black baby. The sewage runs in both directions and it's all disgusting. The next GOP President is going to get dinged like this from the Left. And I'll be just as appalled.

The GOP/Conservatives/Tea Party give me enough that's real to hit them with. This sort of crap is beneath all of us, Left or Right. It's nothing more than supermarket tabloid drivel. Even in our sequestered little subsection of a porn board, I honestly think we can find better things to discuss.

what the fuck you lookin at?
To be fair, look at their role models?

In a bell tower, watching you through cross hairs.
It wasn't that bad...she didn't say they looked like little tramps, or they were scumbags. It could've been worse...

Both their parents are college graduates. Their ****** was the first black president of the Harvard Law Review and is the first black president of the United States. Pssh some role models they are

And what have given six years of so called Obama's fabulous presidency?? Nothing special and nothing good, so get back to reality. Perhaps getting a job and getting in the corporate world will help you to understand the real world and what is really happening but as a student, you will never get it.

Georges, I've been in the corporate world for the past quarter century plus. And I can tell you with complete confidence that success in business does not translate to having class or embracing ethics, morals or good values. Jack Welsh was a fabulously successful business leader... who cheated on his wife and ruined many lives and careers while he was at General Electric. He simply did well by the shareholders and himself (a fat pension and snagging free use of a company supplied private jet after he retired ain't a bad deal, is it? :)). Would he be an example you would follow or want for your ****? I am no fan of Obama's presidency at this stage. I feel that his hard turn from the center-left to the far left will simply lead to more gridlock and more ineffective policies... which will both be bad for the country. But IMO, the most ineffective President of my generation was also the best human being who has occupied the White House in my lifetime: Jimmy Carter. So one has little to do with the other. Just an FYI.

Odd that no one picked up on what was happening with Big Liz as soon as she started babbling that apology. People tend to find God only after they've really screwed up and they're worried that they're going to go down in flames. Well, I believe in prayer. But while God might believe you, your boss might not. And so goes the story of Big Liz: fired ("resigned" ;)) before Christmas. Bye, Liz. Fat, ugly, not real swuft and no job right at Christmas time. Kinda sad when you think about it. :(

Just leave the **** out of it. It is tough to parent. It is tough to grow up under a microscope. Just leave the **** completely out of it. Unless they are over 21 and asking to be in the spotlight, leave them out of it.

Lauten's post was low-class. So was yours Rey.

There are good and bad people in the corporate world, Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Harley Earl one of the GM's presidents which was very successful from the mid 50's till the mid 70's ,Bill Durant (founder of GM), Lee Iacoca were often quoted as good ones. Of course those who only look on profit and the lowest wage possible are not good people but as you know in a world of globalization as stupid as it maybe, managers look for labor cost not necessarily for quality.Carter was indeed one of the biggest douchebag presidents ever, on that I agree with you.

Classless all around. I don't believe in attacking politicians' ***** ******** (Chelsea Clinton's hooved offspring notwithstanding). This ranks right up there with the people who openly mocked Mitt Romney's grandson or Sarah Palin's ***, Trig.

All things being equal, at least the Obama ******** ain't as ugly as their ******.

Carter was indeed one of the biggest douchebag presidents ever, on that I agree with you.

You Misquote him in this regard (not surprising). He said he was ineffective, not a "douchebag". In reality, Jimmy Carter is one of the most decent and honorable human beings that have ever served our country. I would ask you how he qualifies as a douchebag but I'm sure you would simply counter with your usual mindless drivel so I won't bother.
