Google Earth Picture Thread

I know more about using Google Earth, and find I can use it faster and with more control. Several places in the Caribbean were just upgraded in resolution from very low, so that's always exciting to revisit vacation spots.
Really? that's cool! I wish they would upgrade the town I live in but I fear they never will because it's such a small town!:( (only a population of 3,760)

That is only a couple hundred or so people more than the town I live in, so the resolution isn't that good where I live. Actually I don't live in that town but nearer another town that is even smaller, and even that is a couple of miles away. Too bad I was hoping to get a shot of my back yard.

My friend in MS has the same problem. Can't see his house at all. Mine is clear.

I found it but it is very low resoultion! It's very near to Fiji! :D

Did you check the volcanic islands I found in post #73 in the Marianas?

COOL! I have been looking for that one!

The resolution was recently improved, but still hard to see.
I swam in the water at the base of the cliff below the pyramid after wandering all around the site.
The water is several shades of neon blue out to the horizon.
