I've also noticed that rural and less densely populated areas are shot at a much lower resolution. For example, the town I grew up in is very blurry, no detail at all. But the big city that I live close to now (Cincinnati), you can zoom in on the football stadium and see the hash marks on the field. (That's American football y'all)

After seeing AFA's sig I thought I would check out Easter Island but I was sadly disappointed due the the VERY low res pics!AFA said:I was glad to just find out that some of the places I've been on vacations or wanted to go to, as of about a week ago just had large sections done over in high res.

Thanks for the info AFA!:bowdown:AFA said:Yes, Easter Island is pretty bad. I was complaining about the Taj Mahal and Chernobyl, both look good now. Neuschwanstein is still impossible to locate. The revolving restaurant on top of the Schilthorn in the Swiss Alps, (from James Bond), is also impossible.
Parts of the Caribbean were just done.

I don't know which of the two shuttle launch sites the flight scheduled for Tuesday 7/4/06 is coming off, so I put the marker in between. If you follow the connecting road West, you will take it all the way to the Vehicle Assembly Building, the square at the loop. You can zoom in pretty close.
