A special place for all you Yanks. The "Plymouth Steps" where your forefathers set sail.

I live up the road.

:)

Can I get an update for that non Pro version? All of my sites are from 1999 or 2000! I just got it working so I dont know if I can do that upgrade stuff?! Anyone? tnx

Cheers

I don't know what you're asking. Why don't you go to the Google site if you're looking for an upgrade?

The data is updated regularly, but not all at the same time. Resolution is improved as they get to it. Normally we just don't post the co-ordinates to places without high resolution. I stick a pin in them and come back to check now and then.

Tnx AFA, that cleared a few things for me...

here is a question: how updated is this? i punched up soldier field in chicago
and it looks like the construction from 2 years ago is still happening.
cranes,steel girders and so forth.
is there a way to have an updated version or updated pics?
i have had GE for a while but haven't checked it in a long time until i saw this thread.
thanks for any info

There is a lot of ground to photograph on this earth... im sure they update it as much as humanly possible, but 2 years is not that far out.

I can still see a tree in my garden which i cut down over 6 years ago.

Taj Mahal, Cherynobyl and various places in the Caribbean got the recent upgrades I had been waiting for. Still there are quite a few other places I'm waiting for. One was a waterfall, the high res stops on the road just before the falls.
