Google Chrome vs. Firefox 3

I'm not particularly tech-savvy, but I've noticed quite a lot of you on the forum are. What are the pros and cons of each, and which browser are you using?

Personally, I'm using Firefox 3, but I'm considering giving Google Chrome a shot, because FF3 often hangs inexplicably on video/flash media sides like Youtube.

Chrome is a good first effort, the thumbnails page is cool. It has issues with RSS feeds without doing some kind of external rss reader configuration, a little more crap than I want to mess with, this is apparently why I can't get streaming stock quotes on yahoo, so I pretty much stick with FF.

By the way, there are a couple of plugins I have installed in FF for the flash crap since I run a lot of remote desktop, check out flash block and ad block on the FF plugins site.

FF3 is way more better than google chrome at the moment wait a while until google address some of the problems with chrome then compare and it should be a lot closer.

I just started using FF3 last week and I fell in love with it.

Last year my browser preference order was as follows:

1) Internet Explorer 7 (It just loads EVERYTHING)
2) Opera 9 (Faster/Rendered better then FF2)
3) FireFox 2 (and then 2.5)

Here is my current preferences:

1) FireFox 3 (Finally capable of doing ALMOST everything)
2) Internet Explorer 7 (I still have to use it on some sites)
3) Opera 9
4) Google Chrome Beta (Slick, speedy, buggy right now)
5) Apple Safari (Decent, but can't bring myself to constantly use it)

I use Firefox 3.

I heard there are some issues with Google Chrome because it won't let you delete certain things.

Never used Opera before so I can't say anything about it.

For those who have not seen or used Google Chrome here is a little video summarising the main things that Google think are brilliant.

Premium Link Upgrade

its so funny the guy makes the google employee say that google chrome has everything existing browsers already have

I don't like FF3. the graphics are too cartoony looking, and I haven't really noticed too many new features. one thing that I don't like is when you type in a url it acts like a keyword search so it gives me too many results, most of them the ones that I don't want, whereas before it just limited to the exact site and it's extensions.

also I'm experiencing some lag too, mostly when you start up the program, which I really don't like. like others i've experienced it with flash too, but that is always kinda wonky, so i've come to expect that.

I've heard that Google Chrome is experiencing teething problems.

I'm currently using Firefox 3. IE7 is a load of old pony. :(
