This guy is still around though. He's the first base coach for the Royals. His claim to fame is that he had the game-winning RBI in game 5 of the 1984 World Series. I heard his name the other day and thought it was a joke so I looked up his stats online. I'll be bet he suffered through a miserable childhood.
