If he feels remorse now, then his behavior reminds me of a young ***** given his first *** or bb ***. He goes out, ***** a squirrel or a sparrow or something, feeling like quite the hunter-man at that moment, but then feels bad when confronted with the actual death.
Golfer guy is old enough that he should have been able to THINK of what the consequences could be if he took multiple shots at this hawk. But he didn't think. And now, whether he feels genuine remorse or is just trying to look good for the cameras and avoid punishment, he was still a loser asshole at that moment in time, and he should be held accountable/responsible for what he did. I know that sort of thing (accountability/responsibility) isn't in fashion these days, but oh well !!
