The one and only.
You know, Ted Bundy went to them movies alone too. I'm not suggesting any correlation between you and him or anything, just throwing that out there...

Spleen

Banned?
I love movies, if there is one out that I really want to see and can't find anyone to go with, I have no issues going alone.

Some films you wouldn't though. Like blockbusters, eg. Avatar or Dark Knight. Those kinds of films are better when you are with your friends.

I actually prefer it in most cases, everyone is generally too rowdy in the cinema - i'd prefer being able to watch a movie in silence, than having others talking around you (most people i know are chatter boxes when you're meant to be quiet). It can depend on the movie though, some are better with others enjoying it with you.

I also have no qualms when it comes to being in a cinema with hardly any people in there. It means i can have my pick of the seats :D.

I have once, I had three hours to kill before meeting someone. So I went and saw a film :dunno:. It was no big deal, there were a few other people by themselves to. Come to think of it nowadays every time I go an see a film there are always people there by themselves. Maybe if I was still a teenager I'd rip on them a little for being a "loner". Now it just seems pathetic because who really knows other peoples circumstances....

Of course there are films you see with people and there are films you see alone. You don't go and see a comedy or as Spleen says a blockbuster by yourself - firstly it'd be a little weird and secondly these movies are more fun with a group. You see the drama, art film or something you're dying to see but no one else wants to.

I concur.

I prefer to go alone. I need anyone there, it's not like we're going to have a conversation or something.:yinyang:

I used to go alone.

Then I realized I was pathetic and so I got a girlfriend.

About a year later, and once again I am going to movie alone.

If it makes you feel any better, you're not really alone. The next time you go, look 6 rows behind you, 4 seats to the left. That's where I usually sneak in, so I can observe you. And, also so I can masturbate while you watch "P.S. I Love You".

For the last few years I've gone with a friend of mine but when she's not interested in watching a particular movie (she's not into scary movies, not even the Resident Evil movies which are not scary) or when she goes to see a movie before I go see it with her, then I do go by myself, no big deal.

Some movies like "The Hangover" or "Avatar" It's fun to watch with a group"

Other ones like "Precious" or "Moon" It's more fun to watch by yourself

During the day, killing time, a movie you should see at a theater, sure why not...

At night WITHOUT your girl or some friends, with all the loud talking, laughing, cell talking,10 year old kids, have to sit right in front of you when there is 100 other seats open A-holes.... No thanks...

What's wrong with doing things alone? Do you always have to be with someone to fulfill an empty spot you may have? It's also nice when you don't bring that one friend with that's always saying don't go upstairs even though everyone else is thinking that.

I like to go to the movie by myself because their are times that I like to watch the movie. unless I have a hot chick who is giving me a blow job

i always go alone. Who cares what other ppl think........besides, once they turn off the lights they cant see u.........
