Well I just finished my two weeks of replaying God of War and God of War II on PS2. Now I'm all caught up story wise and looking forward to next week. Hopefully when BestBuy ships it I'll have it by Thursday (considering that's what I paid for).

Yeah I got the email from BestBuy telling me that they shipped my Collector's Edition this afternoon. They even gave me UPS Next Day Air and the tracking is saying that it's on time and should be here on the 16th instead of Thurs. Now it's just the waiting.
Oh I am going to rain the fiery pits of Hell upon UPS! The guy came while I was in the shower, ok nothing bad about that. However the package needs a signature! WTF! I see the stupid message that it will be delivered tomorrow. Fuck that, I went to the website and had it changed to "I need it today" and I will pick it up. It better be at the UPS building before closing.

Well I got my God of War III: Ultimate Edition. Mr. UPS Man decided to come back and deliver it. I'm much happier now.
i tried that "buy it at midnight" one time,for Madden i think and the line was like 250ppl and i pulled up to the place after a late hockey game (little after midnight,minutes or so) and i looked at the line,looked at the clock,looked at the line,put the car into Drive and went home and picked it up the next day without having anyone in front of me.
LOL....the only time I ever tried a midnight thing was for Madden too. I did the same thing. Looked at the line and took the fuck off. I never tried a midnight again and never will. I got mine this afternoon like a normal human being. lol

got mine after work along with the GoW collection. Gonna beat 3 then play the first 2 to refresh my mind how the story went from the beginning. I've already beaten em, back on PS2, but I'll be damned if I can't remember the story. I remember it was damn good though!
Anyway. The game is fuckin sick! I'm runnin through it on the easiest setting, just so I can enjoy all the blood and gore and graphics and shit without having to worry to much about getting destroyed! I also wanna see how the damn story ends! After I beat it and the first 2, I'll go through on the toughest setting.

i was expecting this game to be good, but holy shit this game is good!
the first 30 or so minutes are like playing a cinematic cut scene.
best looking game out right now, in my opinion. i thought Uncharted 2 and Killzone 2 looked great, but GOW3 looks better, imo.
i really enjoy my xbox360, but there's nothing on that console that's on the same level as some of the ps3 exclusives.
some of the stuff in GOW3 just makes you shake your head at how cool this shit can get.

I won't post spoilers but the boss battle kill game thingy are fuckin wicked!!! And the blood just from slaying hordes of enemies...Kratos is soaking in it. Literally!!! I mean it stays on his body for the duration of the battle.
I played it for a little while and all I could do was shake my head and say awesome to this game. Hanging out with Poseidon was fun (R3+L3!) and the scales on the Gorgons took my breath away at how good they looked, that snakeskin was like watching Austin Stevens Snakemaster on Discovery Planet Network Channel.
