WTF? They came to the home because their security alarm went off, so they assumed someone was breaking in the home.....but if the dog was so violent and aggressive that they had to SHOOT it, wouldn't you think that the dog would have taken down any alleged intruders as well? And its a golden retriever! They're the most gentle dogs! Even if the dog WAS protecting its owners home, thats what dogs are for!

Fucking restrain the dog and put it in a closed off room, or call for ****** control to come take it if its really being that aggressive...no one, even police, should have the right to take out a ****** pet unless its actually agressive and biting people or other *******.
