It's really hard to tell the what's fact and fictional. You have people like Owl Gore and his crowd screwing with the data to make it worse than it really is and photo-shopping pics. Owl Gore has made millions, if not billions of dollars off of his scam and I think everyday more and more people are seeing what his and certain organizations worldwide agendas really are.

Whenever attempting to make his case on the fiction of "global warming'',
A-gore's facial expression(s) remind me of an excerpt from the movie True Romance, when Chris Walken (Vincent Carcotti) say's to Dennis Hopper (Mr Worley) :

"I learned the pantomime.

If the far lefties can't erode our liberties via health kare, by golly, they have their hysterical and fabricated environmental imperative to fall back on.

It's really very simple - there are two main schools of thought when it comes to the environment, one has political ends and the other has scientific
ends, I'm with the latter.

Everything becomes a political issue when you are dealing with a 2 party system such as the US has. There is never any compromise or discussion because neither side can seem to be weak and they both fight dirty. Therefore even a purely scientific debate becomes fodder if any social change is appropriate. This means that even if there is 100% proof that things need to change to prevent global disaster, one side will side with and one against. Neither will discuss a rational middle ground. And the boards here are clear proof.

All those people that think global warming is a myth and all those big name conservative commentators that have their own radio or television shows that complain about people that try to warn the world about the consequences of global warming that humans have caused have been very VERY quiet on the subject the last couple of months. This planet has gone natural fluctuations in temperature since it developed an atmosphere.

Global warming means hotter summers and colder winters. Here in the UK we had an INCREDIBLY hot summer.

It also means freaky weather conditions: The last winter I spent in Moscow it only went down to minus 14 - the Russians were still waiting for the winter to arrive.
Why don't you ask the Swiss about global warming? They've seen massive loss of glaciers due to melting.
There is far more evidence to support global warming than to doubt it.

Yeah, sure, if Gore has a villa it MUST be through corruption, but Bush having one would be through good hard work, right? I mean it's not like he set up the conditions for financial collapse right? Unless you believe that Obama managed to cause the crash overnight?
Besides that, you're only looking at it from the american angle: The Swiss have been noticing massive glacier erosion for years. Scientists from around the world support global warming; there is that much more evidence (and from honest sources) for it than against it.
But you carry on arbitrarily picking and choosing what you want to believe in

The debate about this is and has been settled for some time in the scientific community.Man made climate change is undeniable IMO.We undoubtlely will see this year go down as one of the hottest if not the hottest on record in the US and the most of the world is seeng similar.Just to make the point it was the hottest April (i missed the stats on may) and June and we are on track for the hottest July ever in the US.It has been in the mid to high 90's most of the days here in NJ this july for example.That is getting to be normal here now in the summer where it was not like that 30 or so years ago.That rapid of a change is not natural.
