He makes a valid point. I hate it when I see youths carrying the flag for their parents' ideology. Parents should raise their children to come to their own conclusions. That's Libertarianism.

Libertarianism is just as much a political ideology as conservatism or socialism, not the absence of one.

I think Prof V meant the idea of allowing one's child(ren) to come to their own conclusions is in and of itself an act of Libertarianism. I tend to agree.

Although it is reasonable to challenge you're child's suppositions in order to engender more reason in their conclusions. Who knows, even the parent might learn something.

Yes, but it's what simple minded people tend to do. I'm kind of surprised that Glenn Beck isn't running for the GOP nomination. I'm sure he would poll at least somewhere around 5%... maybe higher. If nothing else, he could raise a lot of cash (to later stick in his pocket). Just climb up on a stage, say 5-10 completely retarded things to a gathering of hayseeds and rubes and BOOM!... a million dollars in donations would show up within days.

It's very much like when Pat Robertson claimed the Haiti earthquake happened because they formed a pack with the devil 150+ years ago.
