He's also a jealous socialist communist.

This is America, if someone can make money doing something legal then let them be. ;)

The door swings both ways. Gotta love America. Hell, if you can make money doing something ILLEGAL or UNETHICAL and not get caught, well, my hats off to you as well. Of course this hardly ever works out the way most people would like it to work out. Just ask Mr. Madoff or Frank Lucas:)

If people should only earn their keep by the sweat of their brow, then why do the libs insist on channeling everybody into ''higher education" . . . at my expense !! :confused:

:rolleyes::rolleyes:

...and you, Will E, are a hateful, willfully ignorant, Bible-thumping tool.

:hatsoff:

And I haven't done jack TO Glenn Beck, other than offer my :2 cents: on his unoriginal (but lucrative) brand of idiocy. Oh, "Let them be!" - as if poor Glenn's being oppressed by any of his critics. That's possibly the most annoying thing about you wing-nuts (although it's hard to narrow it down - so much to choose from!) - your constant whining and moping and playing victim (or FUTURE victim), even when you get your f'in way!

In any case, read it and weep - Beck isn't real:
http://www.inebriateddiscourse.com/2010/01/glennbeck2.html

"“This has been an incredibly disturbing experience for me,” said Peter Morton, a.k.a. “Glenn Beck.” On Sunday, Morton revealed in a press conference and Q&A with reporters that he is a sociology professor at the University of South Florida who has been on sabbatical for ten years, during which time he has hosted a nationally syndicated radio show and two cable television programs as part of a major academic research project. Morton said he has authored an upcoming book, The Mass Psychology of Stupid, which describes his experiences as one of the preeminent right-wing talk show hosts in the United States."

Will E Worm

Conspiracy...

:hatsoff:

You're willfully ignorant and I'm not hateful. Nothing wrong with thumping a Bible in the face of the rights taking, Constitution, God, and freedom hating, ignorant liberals.

That's incorrect. :tongue:

[Quoting me, where I said: "Oh, and for those who are going to write "Stop being jealous!!!", this is for you; I made it special! (the bird)]

Facial King, for a guy who hates the cops as much as you do, you sure have set yourself up a rigid framework of do's and don't do's. :o

Huh??? That doesn't make much sense at all.

I don't see the contradiction (let alone the fact that I don't accept your bogus premise).

Are you saying that if someone hates cops, then they can't have any sense of right or wrong? This is beyond dumb, though, as I don't have any blanket hatred for cops. The lame, racist, and corrupt ones who abuse their power and authority, sure, I guess I do hate THEM. All cops? No.

Back to the Beck topic....

You're willfully ignorant and I'm not hateful.

:rofl::rofl::1orglaugh Oh yes you ARE!!!

That's incorrect. :tongue:

No, it's completely, entirely correct. It's in The Holy Bible. Go check it yourself.

Deuteronomy 45:16GTX "And the ever-clever Facial_King on the FreeOnes board was unfailingly correct in ALL of his posts and comments. And his manhood was twice the length and girth of Will E Worm's, to boot."

FaKing - OK . .OK ! so we're polar opposites, but please compose yourself and remain civil. :)

All in all, I wouldn't switch places with glen beck for any amount of money. Seriously, how messed up would that be to always have to have a body guard everywhere you go ? or if not that, having to wear a disguise beard and wig every time I wanted to go on a munchie run at the grocery store. :1orglaugh

You see, there are some sacrifices along the way, sacrifices that you just can't put a price on. :2 cents:

NO :nono:

Stop your flaming, harassment, and blasphemy. :hammer:

I can't decide if this has become more frustrating or amusing at this point. Probably amusing.

Regarding the "flaming" - I believe you started the name-calling in #38, above.

I think I haven't met any reasonable definition for harassment.

As for the blasphemy, I'd prefer to continue with it, so get used to it.

Wow, clever tactic. Please elaborate on how I've lost my composure or not been civil (at least in our interaction here, which is what you were referring to, clearly).

Stop the flaming, harassment, and blasphemy. :hatsoff:

I've done no more flaming than you have (and actually, you started it), I'm NOT harassing you, and as far as I know, there's no board rule about blasphemy.

Three lullabies in an ancient tongue
Really, Jagger, would you "get it if (you) could too"???

Admittedly, I don't know you very well, but I suspect you have a bit more integrity.

Would you just keep going for more and more money even if you knew (or strongly suspected) that your volatile rhetoric might inspire some loon to take a gun and hunt people down (in this case, The Liberals) ???

I'm not sure Beck's an idiot. I definitely don't see him as a terribly deep thinker. I think the biggest thing is that he's missing some important gray matter that governs basic morality...

:2 cents:

Well, the question is strictly rhetorical but, if I had political leanings in one particular direction or the other (right or left....really doesn't matter) and I could make LOTS of money from it....the answer to your question is indubitably YES. If I were truly a believer and dedicated to the cause, I would absolutely go for as much money as I could get. There are loons on both side of the political spectrum and I can't see myself as being responsible for their actions as a result of anything I might say or do.

Don't you believe that Beck truly believes the things he says? I sure do. Your question to me would have a lot more pertinence if I believed that Beck was somehow a phony....I don't. The person you see on TV is who he really is. He may be wrong but that doesn't mean he lacks integrity as long as he believes the shit he spews.

My use of the term "idiot" is probably too harsh and I wish to retract that statement. He is, however, as we like to say down here in Texas "not the sharpest tool in the shed" to say the least. "Terribly deep thinker"??? FK....you are way too kind and give him way too much credit. His simplistic approach to most issues appeals to the lowest common denominator that exists within the general population....fear. It is the easiest emotion to inflame and the easiest to exploit (especially with those who are not particularly well-educated nor informed).

I've watched his show on many occasions. It's pretty plain to see that it is not oriented to appeal to Mensa members.

I hear ya, but what about Beck saying "I could give a flying crap about the political process," ???

Admittedly, his poor English allows for some ambiguity and interpretation there (so, in theory, he MIGHT give a flying crap about the process?), but that certainly sounds like opportunistic cynicism, to me. As though he's saying "Whatever gets the ratings and gives me a fat paycheck!" Keep in mind that he got his glorious start doing completely non-political "morning zoo" radio (where he mocked a woman for her miscarriage just days after it happened), and everyone who's known him talks about his limitless "ambition" and aggressive drive. Plus, I believe I've read that after he sobered up he and his wife went shopping for a religion, as though they were shopping for a couch. I almost think this guy's too DUMB to have any deeply sincere beliefs, if that's possible.

There's also the possibility that he's faked all of his red, white, and blue tears:

:dunno::dunno:

I can't disagree with anything you said. However, all of the political talking heads on TV are opportunists in some fashion, aren't they? Hannity, Olbermann, O'Reilly, Maddow, Beck, Matthews....if there wasn't money in doing what they do, they almost certainly would not be doing it. One can make the argument that perhaps Beck is more of a prostitute than the others due to his past but it's really just a matter of degrees at that point.

Oh the tears are certainly fake tears. He did that back when he was on CNN...when they might have been genuine. But to the world's surprise, some like-minded people saw that as proof of his sincerity and the gimmick stuck.

But the political process comment doesn't disprove that the rhetoric he belches out is the real deal. He's often talked about how vile and contemptuous the politic process..the backroom wheelings and dealings, is. I think that comment may have been in regard to the closed door, off C-SPAN meetings or even a generalization akin to Bismarck's famous line about laws and sausages.
