The Ivy League daughter of former Mayor Rudy Giuliani was busted Wednesday for shoplifting at an upper East Side beauty store, cops said.

Harvard senior Caroline Giuliani was caught at about 3:30 p.m stealing $150 worth of cosmetics from Sephora on E. 86th St. and Lexington Ave., sources said.

"She was caught red-handed. She knew it, and didn't act out," a police source said.

Meanwhile, the dysfunctional Clintons raise by all accounts a classy, well rounded kid who knows how to comport herself and is now apparently happily married.

I also wouldn't go as far as saying Chelsea Clinton is well rounded. She was put into a very well paying high level job, at a young age no less, accepted into great schools, and has won awards, all she probably didn't deserve because of her name and who she's related to. She was also heavily sheltered her whole life. Unlike the others that probably isn't personally her fault, but she's nowhere close to being like a normal person, as well rounded as they are, or having the life experience most of them do.

Yeah...make up costs that much. I had a g/f who has a cosmetics business and she earned nearly $25k per month before the recession...Well, she also does photography too but for high end cosmetics...and handful of junk could easily be $150.

So this is where we are:

Some people (too many of course), resort to stealing bread or fruit for survival, or their family's survival. Depending on where they are in the world, they may get their hands chopped off.

And others steal makeup because 'Daddy didn't give me enough allowance', and sadly, she might not learn because she will be given special breaks because of her name.
Or, maybe she will be made to work with the less fortunate so she can see how they live, and maybe that'll knock some sense into her.

Also, isn't it an interesting coincidence that politicians children happen to be able to get into the top schools in the world? What are the odds...
