I agree with you for the record. One of my pet hates in porn for the last few years is that kind of thing. I like that porn has gone more Gonzo, even in the scripted scenes, especially that we don't have that crappy music anymore. However, I have noticed that all the male stars of recent years are using it as an excuse to live out their fantasies rather than just be happy that they are getting paid to fuck. I have no interest in seeing guys give us little position variety in their scenes because they like to look at asses while they fuck. I don't want to see a guy choking a girl or put his fingers in her mouth because he enjoys it, or that fish-hooking crap or smothering a girl when she is trying to talk nasty. Maybe there are guys who do get off on seeing that, but it seems to me it's more for the enjoyment of the actor than the fans, as for the fans it's usually about the girls.

There is also a rise in guys who seem to be popular with the girls but imo are terrible because they have a habit of blocking the best views. What I mean is, they are in the habit of half strangling a chick and mauling her tits for an entire scene or when in Mish lying directly on her to talk shit to her resulting in not very good shot of the girls themselves getting fucked or their bodies cos it's blocked by the guys bodies. Hard to explain what I mean so I'll give an example: Manuel Ferrera is terrible for this. I usually avoid a scene with that guy in.
