Hey, I am far from "capitalisms" biggest supporter and that quote to a certain extent is correct (especially when it's directed at the smaller business and the worker. Not so much when directed at the larger corps). But Cadbury's is not the first, nor will it be the last small company to be taken over by a larger one. That's just how the system works - smaller companies sell, larger ones buy, until we're left with nothing more than a handful of large corporations that monopolise the market. I don't think that's particularly how it should work. But this is the system we live in and have lived in for generations. It's not going to change.
It is good to show support, but other than voicing your distaste at the shareholders and to the buyers (and reading through this thread you and many others have) there really is nothing else that can be done.
