Damn shame myfreeones doesn't let me log in anymore...
Rep is one of the "funnist" things around. It definitely makes this board (and other boards, I suppose) great, cool places. Freeones has the best rep system from what I've seen. I don't go to other porn boards but other boards have shitty rep systems that I don't even bother with...
I don't consider it a competition. I like to spread rep around to posts I think are worthy...I spend 90% of my time on this board rather then the link and vid areas...

No one has taken offense to it yet, but I just wanted to say I have nothing against any members that have been boosting their rep on the rep thread. Sometimes I can come across rude on things like this, and I'm sorry. I count as friends many of the members that post frequently on the rep thread. Most if not all of them, are valuable contributors to this board. I just think that especially in light of this new development with My Freeones points, I would prefer it if rep points were only gained in regular threads and not in the games section. That would be my perfect world. Although I must confess that I have no idea how such a thing could be regulated. Maybe the mods can come up with something; I know Petra talked about something like that. I apologize if anyone was hurt by my comments.

I think it would also be cool if everyone could decide by himself how much he wants to give.

If you really "love" someone's post you give him 10 points and if you just think its cool but not great you give him less than that

Well I really don't care about the whole thing. And I can't understand why it would bug some users.
It's not going to stop me from repping good/greats posts, or people that I like/love seeing on the boards.

Slight correction: prior to this Myfreeones points were only linked to Post Count, and rep points were essentially just a meaningless...game. But now they have value, which kinda changes things a bit.

You now get myfreeones points for your rep.
And I dont think that this is a good idea. At least in the way the Admins just "invented" it.
Especially because many get their rep points in the game section and not for appreciation of a post.
