just like youre in no position to get assume you understand the madness of some of our criminals (hence the vile prison system to begin with). just like Europeans are in no position to arrogantly flaunt about how we Americans are a bunch of maniacs who shouldnt be able to own a weapon. stick to your side of the pond. btw, i know not all European prisons are like hotels but surely some are.

I'll gladly stick to my side of the pond; I intend NEVER to visit the states.
Surely some prisons are like hotels? Not yet, but I'm sure the conservatives will soon have 5* prisons for those members of the business community that get so badly caught they can't slip out of it.

How can this be considered punishment for George Michael? Unless he is obligated to serve time in a female prison, then yeah, that might be considered cruel and unusual punishment for him.
