Often if the male talent isn't that great, but isn't that bad I might agree (If I know they are a jerk in real life I won't like them no matter what, but I don't necessarily know that about Chaplin), or sometimes if it's somebody's real significant other I can give a lot of leeway because of that also...but...there is a limit to how much I am willing or can ignore about a woman's partner in a scene and at some point a line gets crossed.
Also, it's not just not being poor looking or performing badly, I also have potential ethical problems with Chaplin. Even in porn where a lot of other fans might not care I'm somebody where that matters.
From the sum of money I hear she was paid it’s going to take something for them to make a profit out of these glamour girls and that includes Natasha Marley and all the other UK Glamour girls they got lined up this year and next year for that matter.
The thing is I don't think they are making a profit off of them as good as those women are and as much potential they have. Even if Bluebird had their stuff together as a company and acted like professionals, which they don't, and were well run with great productions I still think they would have a good chance of coming up well short. I think there is a good chance that profit isn't the main motivation behind it. When I say that a lot of it seems like it's just a de facto prostitution method for Chaplin to legally screw people for money and put it on camera, that's part of it. He's not putting himself in his movies because people like him or he's good at what he does, that's for sure.
Also from what I have read from Bluebird officials Gemma is due to work with other US guys later in the year. All this and much more apparently but below is a response from BB themselves about Gemma’s work so far.

No offense to you, but given their track record on being deceptive and the sluggish and late way they come out with just about everything I would take anything any official BB person says with a gigantic grain of salt. That line about not going into detail about what she's doing this year reeks of diversionary crap. I'll believe anything only when I see it out with them at this point. Even when, or if, those things get shot latter this year we could be waiting a long time before the shoots with the American men or other potentially great things come about. (And honestly, there are a ton of male talent over here I dislike also so even then it might not be that great.)
Don't get me wrong I have nothing against you personally if you are looking forward to the next few hardcore movies from her. Under the right circumstances I might be also. Those circumstances just don't exist. As long as she doesn't mind, she's getting paid well, and she likes doing it her going hardcore seems like something that's sound great on the surface. I can see how some people would want anything she does no matter what, maybe like you perhaps. Under the surface I have concerns about how it's all going to end up. In some way's I still am just a little hopeful, and who knows maybe in the near future I will be pleasantly surprised by some good material that they haven't mentioned yet or how they start conduct business.
Gemma had and might even still have great potential going hardcore. It's just that for one of my favorite glamour models ever, and for somebody that's near the top I don't like to see all the mismanagement and horrible decisions both from Bluebird and quite frankly, from her (getting procedures done to her face come to mind) over the past year and a half or so. They are taking something that could be huge and they seem to be derailing it. I've seen the industry destroy a lot of people and in a lot of ways. I don't want her to become another casualty. It's even worse that I have no faith in Bluebird. I don't even know if they are or want to be a serious company, if they want to be professional, or even if they want to by a major company for the long haul. Half of what they do almost makes me wonder if it's a fly by night thing to stroke a couple of rich people's egos and give them “benefits“. She just needs to get away from them as soon as possible, especially if they aren't going to keep giving her the kind of money they did last year. It will be better for her career and probably for her personally. I'm also concerned about something else. She might also be making a lot now, maybe even a record amount for her profession, but just from things I'm hearing it seems she's also spending a lot. Even the money they gave her won't last forever.
