Agreed there was a sports game list a few weeks ago that i had seen and it rated NHL 1994 as the best sports game ever...I wonder if Madden or any sports game will make it on the list?...

Wow I actually thought Zelda was going to be Number 1....hmmm what do you think...Grand Theft Auto number 1?...Nahh...heres hoping its the best game and that should be FF7.....

I actually wonder why Mario 64 isnt on that list...it did have some ground breaking features...

I don't think GTA will make it. People are hoping that FFVII will win all over the gamefaqs poll of the day board.

Warcraft 3 + Addon Solocampain (great Story, cool RPG elements)
Jagged Alliance 2 (tactical challenging game)
Doom (classic Shooter, call me nostalgic, i liked it )
Diablo 1 (great Athmosphere, even Diablo 2 coulndn't reach it)

my brother loved Punch Out.

I duped so much in Diablo that I had the best armor, max stats, all spells, and kill diablo right away at lvl 1.

Considering what happens with all the character battles, I'd say it's a pretty good bet Final Fantasy VII'll be there. As a matter of fact, I just started playing that again today.

Bet ya that my friend knows more about the game than you. He has played it 17 times. He beat the game with no materia, not evne the ones needed for the story line. He some how found a way around it. He also beat it other ways. So, I say he knows a lot about the game.
