I didn't watch the Golden Globes this year (or really any year before this) but apparently Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister) won a very much deserved Best Supporting Actor! :clap:

2nd Season premiere was amazing. I loved it when Tyrion arrived and basically told Cersei she fucked shit up and please please please someone kill Joffery. I haven't read the books yet but I just cannot foresee him lasting very long at this rate. One thing did bother me: how is it that the thing that got Ned Stark and John Aryn killed (finding out about Jamie and Cersei's relationship) now seems to be common knowledge across the world?

Well everybody in the King's Council already knew it, so I thinks it makes sense that Baelish, Varys and the like might have their own reasons for helping this rumor spread now that Joffery is on the throne. I forget; before Ned was arrested and beheaded, did he speak of Joffery not being a true Baratheon while in the Throne Room? If I recall correctly, that's what got him charged with treason. So the Kingsguard and a whole slew of knights heard it as well.

Anyway, man this episode was good. Thankfully I didn't even think about checking out this series until last month...and then when I did I watch the whole season in three nights. So I didn't have to wait long in between.

After I watched Se2Ep1 I started watching the first season over again and there's SO much clever and interesting shit that you pick up on the second viewing.

Come on mods....you're ironically just keeping the guy's name alive if you have a censor on that order of letters. What genius proposed the ban on his name? Is he the dark lord? Will he come back as a demon if we utter it? This is going to come up a lot too as long as J Stewart keeps doing brilliantly funny satire.

I hear that HBO put a stop to the early airing now due to the leak. It was going to be standard in certain European countries via HBO GO to promote the service, but the leak stymied it.
