Looks silly, but I bet it's there so they can get a count of the people that use the path, If they forced you through it, people would be tempted to jump it, but by asking....likely on a sign we don't see in that picture...people are probably happy to turn it, for whatever cause it might benefit.

That's my unsolicited opinion of what it is. I wish we had a way to make friendly wagers on this board.

We don't even know if it was taken in the United States. It reminds me of finding out about a place in South America, when I was in grade school, called, Lake Titicaca. Something so stupid it shouldn't be funny anymore.....but I'm still 12 at heart, fuck it!!!

That's a great idea. I saw a life hack, article that suggesting attaching a pool noodle to the wall of your garage, where your car door opens, to keep it from banging the wall, and chipping your paint.
