I have watched the WPT for 10 or 15 minutes here and there, but it gets old really fast. ..

It was torture to watch. If you ever see WSOP reruns from the '90s listed (presumably on ESPN Classic), check it out for how utterly, stupefyingly boring it was. The one that Scotty Nguyen won was fair to moderately entertaining, because of Scotty.
