Fringe

Anybody watch this show? I caught an episode at work the other day and it was pretty good. Reminded me of old X-Files with a little bit of Twilight Zone. It is the same guy who created Lost, if your into that show.

I will definitely be checking out the rest of the episodes online.

those were my thoughts the first time i watched Fringe, Twilight Zone and X-files
i like the show, speaking of, i need to catch up on the latest episode

SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER

What does everybody think is going to happen with Walternates machine?? My best guess is the machine will use Peter as some sort of sacrificial energy source to destroy the other universe.

Really?

I just don't see it going that far (destroy the other universe) but I could be wrong. Plus, why use Peter as a sacrificial energy source? Walternate just went through all that trouble to get him back. Why risk killing him? :dunno:

Exactly. He wanted him back to use him as a weapon. I don't feel Walternates motives are based on love for his son. He looked too sinister in that last episode.

Perhaps... I'll think on that one for a few.

The paper the Observer game to Olivia showed the machine, (which Walternate has already built) and Peter with smoke coming out of his eyes. If that isn't looking grim for Peter, I don't know what is.

I just seen the trailer for this. I'll try and watch if I get the chance.

I still haven't watched the rest of the season finale... oops!

Wonder if it's still on my Tivo...

I miss Jericho

my buddy just tried to explain some crazy theory that JJ Abrams is going to try and use fringe as a way to explain some unanswered questions from LOST.

like the black horse in tonights episode, in comparison to Kates mysterious black horse on lost.

i think its complete bullshit, as my friend is a little on the weird side.

any takers to try and see what he might be getting at.

This is great news!! I thought for sure it wouldn't get another season after all the slot switching the show has been doing. I was preparing for a half assed conclusion to a good show.

I thought the 1980's episode a few weeks ago was kind of "meh". Am I supposed to believe that Peter and Olivia interacted as kids and then forgot all about it? It's just supposed to hype up that destined romance BS.

I liked that it showed how Walternate figured shit out though. But srsly, Peter and Olivia have no recollection? Bs!

Also, they drop a bomb with Fauxlivia's pregnancy and drop it for 3 weeks for some lame csi style case nonsense. I think this show would be better off dropping 7-8 episodes from it's season and focusing more on the story arc instead of hit or miss fringe files 50% of the time. X Files suffered from the same thing IMO. Too many boring episodes just filling up space between story arc episodes.

For example, Dexter is 12 episodes long. Every episode is a cliffhanger. Ya dig?
