FreeOnesTUBE is in Beta test please

Guys, for some time we are dumping all videos we put out on Freeones at FreeonesTube.com to fill it up a bit.

The site is in Beta but we wanted to know what you guys think AND if you experience any weird things or errors. We are aware of a few errors in it sofar which will be fixed but still I think it is a good thing to hear your opinion on it.

So please go to www.freeonestube.com and browse around a bit.
NOTE: It is a BETA so it is far from perfect yet ;)

Anyway, enjoy and let us know what you think!!!

niiiiiiiiiiiiiiice!

freeones ROCKS, goddamn it!

Nice idea! Finally a tube site i can trust! some of them out there just look way to dodgy to click anything. Great idea.

Can we upload videos that last longer than 5 minutes? like 20 or more?

NO, not becasue of the lenght but because we don't allow user uploads. This is due to the MANY copyright infringments this will cause.

So unlike most other tube sites we actually DO care about the producer of the videos.

burp!

I'll upload a video of my furry ass next week ...
:dunno:

Wow every day some better and better happens around here. I love it! Thank you Freeones!

Well, as far as errors go, the very first link I clicked on brought me to the wrong vid. The title and preview images were correct, but the vid that appeared was completely different. But then when I closed it and clicked on the link again, it brought the correct vid up. And it hasn't happened with any links since.

I know you're just in beta, but a couple suggestions for the future:

1) Show the buffer progress. For those of us with slower and/or inconsistent broadband connections, the built-in buffer is often useless. It's a lot easier to simply pause it and wait for a more adequate buffer to download before we actually start watching.

2) Show categories and/or preview clips on the thumbnail page. A name, length, and single frame isn't especially helpful if we're looking for a particular kind of content.

3) Offer variable quality preferences. Again, those of us with slower broadband appreciate being able to do a quick preview before we commit to something larger. Maybe something along the lines of YouTube's "HD" button (although it doesn't have to be in actual HD).

Good stuff guys. I agree loads of room for improvements. However freeones.com itself will stay our main focus.

Keep it coming!!!

Third it....and some preview when you hover your pointer over the thumbnail

Good suggestions, the whole lot of them!

So long as no one uploads Two Girls One Cup, I'm on board!
