Turns out Americans can't play, even though it's a no-money tournament. Maybe we can try it again sometime at a different site or something.

Yes that is correct. I had a lengthy discussion with live chat and they said there is simply nothing they can do, even if they aren't funding the freeroll all of their freeroll tables are in the real money section of the site; meaning US players cannot register for them.

Petra - perhaps you'd have better luck with pokerstars, ultimatebet or fulltiltpoker, which have no such restrictions on United States players.

For one thing, we have to get more people interested. Second, if the fact that we're an adult site is a problem, then why not do it in a more individual way. Maybe one person can find a site that allows private no-money tournaments to be set up by individuals instead of websites.
