Quite a few forums have their own chatroom, and im sure it might attract more members, seeing as there will be more facilities.
I think a chat room would be a good idea for the forums, it would get pretty packed sometimes, but if a chat bot was installed, to kik people who spam (continually repeat same thing) would also help the chat.
