I was just joking both those two sandee fans deserved to win no doubt.

Actually i haven't won that often. Sigs i've done for other people have won alot more and i am happier if someone i made a sig for win instead of me.

The problem with sigs i do for myself is that i lack imagination. it's a lot easier to make a sig for someone who is requesting something special.

Hi Dr Death and other F2007SOTW members and followers, UT just gave me an idea, would it be fun do you all think to have 'Themed' weeks now and again, where we all make sigs with a common theme be it a model, pastime, or even styles maybe?
Just thinking out loud really but do you think it would be worth trying out I dunno maybe a montly theme maybe, where the theme is announced at the start of each month and we vote at the last week.

What do you all think?

i really like the idea! It would be hellafun to see all different kinds of sigs based on the same theme..

I don't really know how i did give you this idea but im still glad i did.

And maybe the winner of the themed sig contest can choose next months theme?

Well judgeing from the response so far it seems it may work, well its mid may now we could start in a couple of weeks for june. do we need a new thread or shall we see if the good Doc wants to incorporate it in this thread?

Actually I'm not sure if a seperate running contest would work as it would intrude in SOTW contest if you think about it. We could think on it for a bit though

I suggested it once before long ago in a post, nobody even commented on the suggestion. I had just said once in awhile. I think its a good idea. Like maybe a Pirate theme, Roman theme, beach theme, Seven Wonders of the World and so on. A totally separate thread though, separate runner of the thread maybe. :thumbsup: cabey.

I'm sorry to all for hijacking this thread, If anyone wants to run with the idea of how it would work and not interfere with SOTW then i would be eager to help and contribute as much i can, i would certainly take part.

I will think on it and have a chat with Dr Death and Seraphim and Poggy via pm and see what they think, i think there best placed to make it work.

Maybe I read your Idea and subconciously thought about it LL:glugglug: :thumbsup:

Thanks for the PM Cabey, your reply is in the post so to speak LOL.

As I explained to Cabey in my PM. I'm really only the back up guy in this thread. I only take over the management if the other two are unable too.

As for the idea it is a good idea but! I do see problems as I've told Cabey. You need to get enough of the sig makers to take part. Sadly I for one won't be. As I also told Cabey my sigs are already themed That is the only theme I have used and will use in future. I might sometimes add something else like smilies and cartoon characters like I did with Dangermouse and Penfold. But other than that my theme stays the same.

But as I said to Cabey in the PM. Just give it a go, that's the only way to find out if people are interested or not :thumbsup:
