They need to add a proper incentive like.....If you kill yourself we will hire some goons to whack your entire family.

It makes you wonder what is going on at Foxconn that they make employees Promise that. I read a while back that they had several workers that had killed themselves. It seems like an empty Promise to me. If someone wants to kill themselves bad enough that won't stop them.

All you need to know is it's a company that has approximately 400,000 workers and it sits smack dab in the middle of China. The rest really just flows from that.

I bet that is some Republican and Libertarian paradise. How long before they manage to get something like that over here?...of course for people other than them individually.

I know plenty of both Republicans and Libertarians and none of them support those kinds of work conditions. I don't think any sane person would think that is a good idea or want it in their country. I saw an article yesterday in which several large companies, Apple and Microsoft among them, that said they were opposed to those kinds of work conditions and hoped Foxconn addressed them. I can't find the link again or I would post it.

Foxconn has given their employees a 20% pay increase but says it has nothing to do with the suicides. Yeah right.
