This post marks the beginning of my relentless, non-stop coverage of the Miss FreeOnes contest when it's convenient for me.

As we quickly approach the ending of Round 1, there are many candidates clamouring to be in the Top 50. So before I proceed to discussing who gets my votes today and why, I would like to share a few random thoughts.

  Audrey Bitoni, Stracy Stone, Minka, Fantasia, Paris Kennedy, et al. You are all SEVERELY missed when it comes to the contestants.

  Secretchick, I'm not sure if, by not having a thumbnail picture, you're gaining or losing votes.

Considering placement, votes, and remaining votes, I think that we can all consider the top 25-35 spots to be clinched as well as the bottom 100 to be virtually hopeless.

Considering my votes in the bottom 100, this is a shame. Anorei Collins is virtually unknown to me, but with her assets and the right handling, she could easily be a presence in the future. As for Houston, this is really sad: her fan base is die-hard, but due to lack of exposure (for many reasons) and an influx of talent, she's lost a lot of fans on the periphery. Given, many didn't expect Houston to advance, but currently showing at #117 is a tough pill to swallow.

All things considered, the votes worth watching are Dors Feline, Miss Hybrid, and Natasha Nice. Can Natasha hold on? Can Dors edge into the top 50? Can Miss Hybrid make a sizeable move of 7 places in the last 10 days?

Personally, I'm really pulling for Dors (bad choice of words, I know!), I think she's got the looks, the curves, and I'm really digging the leopard print tattoo. Is anyone else voting for her?

Voting Notes: Differing somewhat from my first votes as well as taking a cue from Greg Cantauro AND trying not to strengthen the position of the current top 50, I voted with a purpose and conviction. First and foremost, Dors is my pick and my contestant. Monica is an Aussie and smoking hot, so it's a must-vote. For Rebecca Jessop, Dee Dee, and Sparky, how could any self-respecting boob aficionado NOT vote for them? Alexis is the gorgeous blonde that every guy has fantasized about whether they admit it or not. With her overall cuteness, Xoxo Leah blinded me of her position and stole a vote. I hope that voting for Southern Brooke might actually convince her to do something a little more darling for her fans. Finally, a vote for Houston is a deserving vote for both her body of work and her future porn status.

Lost Votes: To my favourites in the top 50, previously mentioned and also Dylan Ryder and Devon Michaels, your positions seem to be safe, so I can't reasonable vote for you. Aimee Addison and Precious Lili (respectively #160 and #170 currently), I'm sure that you will be a force in this contest in the coming years, but unfortunately, this is not your year. Finally, there is Mason Moore, who would've easily had many of my votes; however, I find the tattoo sleeve a total turn-off.

Today's Update.

From my last post, more than 22,000 more votes have been submitted, and the top two trending contestants have continued their remarkable surge.

• After an initial one day gain of 5 spots, Miss Hybrid has moved up another 5 spots and into one of the much-coveted Top 50 spots, marking a 10 spot gain in 2 days. Currently, she sits in 47th place.

• Not impressed with a 10 spot gain? Consider Diana Doll. Although still far outside of the Top 50, in 2 days she has rocketed from #147 to #130, a remarkable 17 spots.

Other than these two stand-out performances, the other contestants seem to be moving within a couple of spaces of their current positions, but there can be no doubt that, in the last few days of this competition, there will be some big and possibly unexpected moves.

Voting Notes: An international sampling. More often than not, we in the Anglo-Western world are privy only to "homegrown" or (for the most part) not-too-distant foreign porn, so why not have a porn-venture and spare a few votes for the out of the ordinary? If you think the Pommeys are pale, unattractive, stuck-up, and bland, then you obviously haven't seen Dors Feline and Cate Harrington, arguably two of the finest Brits that FreeOnes has to offer. Beyond her rather unique porn alias, Tatyana Weisenbarger represents the Ukraine's emerging porn presence. Voting Notes: Since I have already given my rationale for my first 4 votes, I will skip over those with just indulge me with the phrase, "PLEASE vote for Dors! Get her in the Top 50!" For vote 5, "The Bella Factor" is in full effect. Yes, I am being a sort-of bandwagon backer of Diana Doll, but given her movement, I think at least 1 vote from me is warranted. Previously, I hadn't seen much of Vanilla DeVille, but at #58, she is definitely worthy of a vote as well as keeping a watch on. Although not necessarily my type as far as looks are concerned, Lexxxi Lockhart has some really amazing curves and warrants a vote. I'm somewhat leery of the actress/centerfold types (I'll explain later); however, September Carrino is stunning enough to overcome this criticism. Finally, my votes conclude with today's "British Invasion" by way of Kerry Louise, who has quite a sexy look and promises (even in writing) to "fuck like a slut!"

Lost Votes:

My apologies to many people currently in the Top 50 as well as those in the Top 40 (or so), but as I regard your positions as very safe, I cannot justify voting for you.

On the average, I don't like voting for centerfolds. To me, they often seem one-dimensional and don't embody the entire spirit of FreeOnes, and there can only be so much teasing before it starts to become monotonous and repetitive. Of course, as stated before, this isn't a hard and fast rule.

Upon first seeing her, I liked and was considering voting for Kirsten Price, but all hopes for a vote were dashed by one disturbing photo set (http://freewicked.com/fhg/ws/wickedpornstars/kirsten_price/template1/index.html?content=set12&nats=freepicsPS:ws). No matter how sexy, even references to children's dolls can creep me out.

Last is JesseJo. Physically, she's very attractive and has a nice shape, but when I look at her links, it just seems to me that her photo sets lack effort and originality.

I actually am pretty content with how its looking with Bree Olsen at the top. She's hot, and ridiculously intelligent. Got a lot of respect. Although she wasn't too active until recently, her patience to answer any and all questions deserves some serious kudos.

Perhaps the FreeOnes overlords should consider reformatting the contest to have separate voting sections for looks, intelligence, fan relations (i.e. do they post a lot and have a good rapport with fans), and quality of their work (photo sets, vids, etc.). What do you think?

That's true, at least until Nikki Nova goes on one of her patented 5+ post binges (just teasing, Nikki!). Yes, they are still subjective, and while I'm not sure that this contest could or even should ever totally distance itself from subjectivity, at least with more categories, the voters would be able to vote fully based on the individual aspects of a contestant. For example, even if a contestant didn't win overall, they could still win as Best OSCM or Best Photo Sets of 2009.

OK...yes....I'm pushing for a FreeOnes version of the People's Choice Awards or at least the Golden Globes. :nanner:

• At the top of the list, Vicky Vette has managed to do what many thought impossible: take the top spot from Bree Olsen.

• Diana Doll keeps moving and is up another 3 spots. In 4 days, she has moved up a total of 21 spots.

• Miss Hybrid continues to rise and, given the number of votes and her strength of position at#45, seems certain to move on to the next round.

• Rebecca Jessop, poised to make a run for the Top 50 in the last week of voting, has moved up 4 spots and now sits at #62.
