For starters, I would like to extend my congratulations to all of the category winners, and I would like to deeply thank all of the contestants who decided to participate on the boards. Much like the other voters and posters here, I can say that it has definitely been a pleasure to spend time with you here and get to know you better. Speaking personally, it's always a pleasure to renew the bonds of friendship with people such as Miss Hybrid, jitna, GodsEmbryo, Wanda CWH, Clayra Beau, etc. and to establish new friendships, as is the case with Lolita Borgia, Who??, Mandy Flores, and Harley Spencer.
Naturally, the final voting results didn't go as I had wished, though I'm sure that I'm not the only person who feels this way. As I've already made my feelings on the voting methodology well known, I'll not venture into that topic. After all, it's mainly for that reason that this thread was created. Yes, there was a significant difference between the overall results and our results based on posted vote calculations; yet, it is just my hope that, regardless of what logic a contestant or member uses to measure success, everyone will feel that this contest has been successful for them (in the case of contestants) and a beneficial experience overall.
Aside from just participating and voting, I would especially like to thank everyone who took the time and effort to post on my threads- you made them immeasurably better. So, thank you, and I hope to see everyone again in 2013.
