Since the beginning of the Miss FreeOnes contests, there have been a number of board members (myself included) that have questioned whether or not the winners are actually a representation of the majority of FreeOnes board members. Thanks to outside influences, such as Twitter, Facebook, outside companies and their minions, etc., we board members have had to deal with the likelihood that a significant number of the top positions in most categories of a FreeOnes-based contest will be occupied by contestants that are not even active members on FreeOnes' own message board- some can't even be bothered with creating a profile here. This is a terrible injustice to all those contestants who are contributing members here as well as to us voting board members, as it does little but silence our voices and water-down our votes. While we can't take over the contest and we can't stop outside sources from voting, there is something that we can do: we can monitor our own votes so that we can truly know who the FreeOnes board has picked as its winner in each of the categories. To do this, I'm launching this new thread so that I can keep track of the FreeOnes board voters and votes in the final round, which will give us true blue board members an idea of who the FreeOnes board- without outside influences- is selecting to win each category. Yes, this will be a big task, and updating will be a lot more difficult; however, I'm hoping that the result will speak for itself. So, starting with the beginning of Round 3, I'll begin tallying votes from the Official Miss FreeOnes thread as well as any posts here, so please be sure to post your votes.
