Florida Doc's sign warns off Obama voters

The one and only.
Clearly it's not hurting his practice if there have only been three complaints. He's upset with the health care bill and this is his way of showing dissidence and trying to fight it. He's not refusing patients and he's not breaking laws. What's the big deal? He's one urologist in a heavily conservative area. I don't think this is going to help or hurt his business at all. If anything, his waiting room literature is going to educate people (fellow republicans) as to why they should be against the bill. Sounds like an informed GOP supporter to me. :dunno:

Something tells me that if this had happened a year ago and the doctor in question had put up an anti-Bush sign, the entire tone of this thread would be reversed.

Not everyone likes the things Obama has done. That doesn't make them bad people.

Hiliary 2020
apparently he really has a problem with the obama medical plan.
he is a doctor, so he probably knows more about it than many of us.
either way its no big deal , it just made the news to make non obama lovers look like cold, mean people.
just and brick in the lefty propaganda wall.

the irony is that left wingers are the ones who get mean and nasty when someone doesnt agree with their boy.

He should be disbarred.

But let's face it, do you want a teabagger grabbing your 'nads?

I don't think he's going to have any problem if he gets disbarred, he's a doctor, not a lawyer. :D

And this is still a free country, for at least a few more years, so nobody's forced to go see this doctor, he's not a government doctor (yet) so go see someone else, as for those who agree with his views, for me, too bad he's not from my area, but any doctor that puts a sign like that in their office will become my doctor....unless it's a gynecologist

Clearly it's not hurting his practice if there have only been three complaints.

As a lifelong sales guy I can tell you for sure that it's the customers who don't complain that you need to worry about, AR. Complainers are telling you they want to do business with you but are unhappy about something and want you to fix it. The ones who remain silent just go somewhere else.

In the final analysis, however, you are probably correct. Mt. Dora is situated in the heart of Lake County which is full of old, angry white people and lots of rednecks (no derision intended....I've been accused of being one myself :D) so I think it's a reasonably safe bet that most of his patients agree with him.

Conspiracy...
MOUNT DORA, Fla. - A central Florida urologist has posted a sign on his office door warning supporters of President Barack Obama to find a different doctor.

The notice on Dr. Jack Cassell's Mount Dora practice says, "If you voted for Obama, seek urologic care elsewhere. Changes to your healthcare begin right now, not in four years."

Great!

Suck on that Obama!

Also, Stupak the baby killer can suck on it hard!. :D

Racing is life... anything else is just waiting.
So instead of starting to lose their minds, people have officially lost their minds!

Pretty much.^^^

I don't care what a doctor's politics are. But if politics are on his mind when I go for care, he could agree with 99.9% of my views... I'm still walking out.

All this guy is doing is confirming to people that he is fucked in the head. Typical wingnut though...

Considering if they ask for help, he doesn't turn them away, keeping the Hippocratic Oath.
If they turn away before asking for help, he still doesn't break said oath.

We also have a right to a little thing called free speech here. Even if you don't like what he said on his sign, he is fully protected by law.

Good for him.

I disagree. If he's not breaking his oath, he's at the very least pushing breaking it to it's absolute limit and definitely breaking the spirit of it.
