Even if there is some way the coalition ****** manage to win this war it will still be seen as a failure

Two stay in the middle east? or not to stay.My feeling is that if we leave without victory, then we would be the second country that came home with our tail between our legs, defeated by the Tali.
And if we leave? did all those who paid the ultimate sacrifice die in vain?

History repeats again because we forget it too often.This is what we heard about Vietnam.Most people know that by the time of the 1968 election the vietnam war was seen by many as not something we would be succesfull in.LBJ did not run again over it and Richard Nixon was elected saying he had a secret plan to get us out.Peace with honor he called it.What most don't know is that more than 1/2 of the american dead occured after 1968.We should/could have left in 1968 and saved all those people.Do we need to sacrifice more like we did back then ?
