Well they do have gay, pedophile male priests, so I guess a female priest wouldn't stray too far from the flock. :dunno:
..hmmmm.
A lotta little boys are gonna be auditioning for that front altar expecting some illicit, nasty religious sex. Like in the classrooms these days.. but.. ya know, different.
I'm not sickeningly-intimate with all the details of these female teacher-male student stories.. but I really do find it hard to believe that they 1: Tell on the teacher and 2: Play the molestation card. Never really known a teenage boy to turn down sex. Maybe my middle school/high schools were different, but.. ::shrug:: We wanted it but never had it.
He has STUPID written all over him. No teenage boy in his right mind would tell, especially to the authorities.
As someone being raised in the catholic church, there are actually more than just sexual abuse.
Priests can also be alcoholics, engaged in heterosexual relationship, explicit or seek prostitution and no difference than anyone in this Forum, engaged in porn, has ill-tempered and just a normal human being.
My mentor went to the seminary in 1977 but left and got married to his sweetheart.
The issue is why all those behind the door illicit activities in Roman Catholic church.
Let the priests get married and divorced and live a normal life and have children.
There are actually groups of priests are married and still give masses on Sunday.
I don't understand why the Catholic schools encourage girls to wear mini-shirts, white blouses, show off everything on the bus and even in front of the catholic school.
A lot of the Catholic Church's rules and beliefs are stupid and don't seem to have that much to do with coinciding with Christianity, but I guess I don't care. I've never been Catholic and my father left the church before I was born because of said stupidity and unethicalness he saw in them all the time. It's their religion they can believe what they want I guess.
Why not male nuns while we're at it! Hell, I love to get dressed up in nun's clothing from time to time. In fact, you might say it's sort of a habit!

Who cares, just another gimmick by a dying religion. Why does this even make news surly there our other more important things to talk about not just here but in the newspapers and on the news, all you seem to have is one crackpot priest on one side ("women should not be priests") and then another crackpot priest on the other ("women should be priests").
Equality in the work place is a good thing, but who the fuck cares about this issue?
