Why are you so obsessed with "official" investigations, and why isn't the 9/11 commission an official investigation? And if you don't think the 9/11 commission was an official investigation, or was somehow prone to corruption, why on earth would an investigation produced by the FBI, CIA, or NYPD be any better? Are you telling me you would believe an "official" FBI report? Why don't you see that you are demanding something be produced that you wouldn't believe anyway?

- this thread was about the FBI not mentioning 9/11 on their own most wanted page... not about my beliefs.

- the commission was not an actual investigation into a crime that occurred. when a crime occurs somewhere, people called "the police" begin an investigation and this then results in evidence being collected. no such thing happened after 9/11.

- the commission was only set up in november 2002, over a year after the events in question. its credibility has been called into question by many people, including the former director of the FBI (louis freeh):

but, one more time, this thread was not about that. there are many conspiracy sites out there (most of them are quite ridiculous), go to one of those if you please.

That was already answered way back, it's because there hasn't been a grand jury indictment. You are the one who has been changing the topic to official investigations.

But what law says there has to be a criminal investigation? Was there a criminal investigation for Pearl Harbor?

well i always wondered why there was never an investigation into the events of september 11th, and how exactly one could accuse bin laden of a crime when there had been no investigation, and what evidence had been gathered when, once again, there was no investigation to gather any evidence... i'm not saying he's a saint, but just now i came across his "most wanted" page at the FBI website:

http://www.fbi.gov/wanted/topten/fugitives/laden.htm

they say: "USAMA BIN LADEN IS WANTED IN CONNECTION WITH THE AUGUST 7, 1998, BOMBINGS OF THE UNITED STATES EMBASSIES IN DAR ES SALAAM, TANZANIA, AND NAIROBI, KENYA. THESE ATTACKS KILLED OVER 200 PEOPLE. IN ADDITION, BIN LADEN IS A SUSPECT IN OTHER TERRORIST ATTACKS THROUGHOUT THE WORLD."

notice how they avoid mentioning 9/11 entirely. is that strange or what?

There were also some news years before after 9/11, in the media that this bad guy was wanted.....and at one time during Clinton administration before 9/11, he was in Sudan and the government of Sudan at that time offered to handover this guy to Washington. But this offer was not accepted...don't know why.....:dunno::dunno::D

no comment from me.

Of course he didn't do it.. unless you think that he was on one of those planes, in which case he would be dead right now along with all of the other people that carried out the september 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in NY and DC.

Do you really even think that he was the one that came up with the idea, let alone planned it and arranged all the details? He's just like any other figurehead of any other organization. At the very most his involvement is probably that only he knew it was going to happen. It's also likely that he might not have even known at all beforehand, just that al queda operatives were involved and he claimed responsibility on behalf of them.

It's kind of like giving George W. Bush credit for invading Iraq. Sure he might have said, "let's go invade Iraq!" but he wasn't the one that came up with the actual details for the operation, that was done by his military commanders.

Next, some people are going to be claiming that the FBI doesn't think the sun rises in the East because they having did an investigation on it yet.

It's not the FBI's job to investigate astronomical phenominon.

That analogy doesn't make any sense.
